B:D:HIV is part of the core, so it should have installed for you. You may want to upgrade 
to the stable 1.6 release (see http://www.bioperl.org/wiki/Release_1.6); it's definitely 
there. Post again to the list if you have trouble--

  I recently upgraded to BioPerl 1.5.9_RC4(Win32 ppm) and I was wondering if the ' 
Bio::DB::HIV' module was built-in or required a separate download? I received the 
following error when I attempted to use it:

  C:\Perl\bin>perl -e "use Bio::DB::HIV"
  Can't locate Bio/DB/HIV.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/site/lib C:/Perl/lib
  .) at -e line 1.
  BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at -e line 1.
