I have added some variations on the original images I posted. I am 
trying to use the curves of the snake to show transcrition, and one has 
a dna background. I am not sure how far I can take this - I know I can't 
draw DNA helices (or very good pythons), so it would be tough for me to 
do something like having the python "split" and transcribe out a little 
python, or a binary series, or whatever. Also, as you can see from the 
"busy" one, the colors start to fight with each other.

But let me know what you think it needs, and I can give it a try.
