I follow instructions at
http://www.bioperl.org/wiki/Installing_Bioperl_for_Unix

When I do:
>perl -MCPAN -e shell
cpan> install Bundle::CPAN

...answer Yes to all... and the last lines of my installation are:

t/cz-06gzsetp.t (Wstat: 65280 Tests: 0 Failed: 0)
  Non-zero exit status: 255
Parse errors: No plan found in TAP output
t/cz-08encoding.t (Wstat: 65280 Tests: 1 Failed: 1)
  Failed test: 1
  Non-zero exit status: 255
Parse errors: Bad plan. You planned 29 tests but ran 1.
t/cz-14gzopen.t (Wstat: 65280 Tests: 2 Failed: 1)

make: *** [test_dynamic] Error 255

//hint// to see the cpan-testers results for installing this module, try:
  reports PMQS/IO-Compress-2.027.tar.gz
Running make install
make test had returned bad status, won't install without force
Failed during this command:
 ADAMK/File-HomeDir-0.91.tar.gz : make_test NO
 PMQS/IO-Compress-2.027.tar.gz : make_test NO

...any hint on where my failure comes from is appreciated.

More info:
