[Bioperl-l] Bio::TreeIO parse from a string?

Hi,

is there a way to make Bio::TreeIO parse a string? Or from a handle?

E.g.

$treeio = Bio::TreeIO->new( -format => 'newick', -string => $newick );

or

open( my $handle, '<', \$newick ) or die $!;
$treeio = Bio::TreeIO->new( -format => 'newick', -handle => $handle );
