I'm in agreement with all the analysis and as much as I like to follow
the mantra - "s/he who codes it wins", that doesn't work so well with an
IDL.

I've been wrapped up in analysis here so haven't been able to think
too deeply about what is the best approach.

I think all the little things, boolean instead of short, formatting,
documentation can be corrected w/o much more discussion.

I also certainly agree the IDL needs to stay clean and simple, tightening
up the BioEnv is also in order and Alan's suggestions are excellent here.
Anyone who wants to follow through on these is welcome to do so. If you
need to be in the biocorba group/get a login let me or Ewan know.

As for which way is best to deal with our seqfeatures, I agree
that the bioperl way has some major flaws. I think I'm perfectly happy to
follow a reccomendation by Matt/Alan/Brad if we can mostly agree that it
will work for us.

I'll hopefully get a chance to reread the mail messages this weekend and
see if there are other things I am forgetting to respond to.
