[Bioperl-l] How to check mRNA moltype?

"alphabet" difference between mRNA and genomic DNA is less of concern because perl can quickly convert 'T' to 'U'. 

The real need is to differentiate mRNA records and genomic DNA records. There is real biological difference between these 2 type of record.

Maybe we need 2 method, one to refer to "alphabet", another to refer to "biological type"
