Those at the pre-BOSC 2014 CodeFest in Boston will know about this,
but Michael Crusoe's email below about some other hackathons/sprints
may be of interest.

We (the OBF community) are also holding another Codefest in Europe
later this year, this time in Cambridge UK, close to and shortly before
the Genome Informatics Conference meeting:
