[EMBOSS] Difficulty with login

I'm trying to setup a jemboss server for a few researchers here and I have
a problem I can't find an answer too. For some reason I can't login with a
valid user account. When I run the client in debug mode, I get:

 javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found

I can't find this in the documentation. What exactly do I need to do to
get this "trusted certificate"??
