Hello Megan, and welcome!

You mentioned test coverage, and there is a lot of room for improvement
there - including how we measure it, eg
https://github.com/biopython/biopython/issues/4867

Or, maybe https://github.com/biopython/biopython/issues/820 whould be an
easier first issue for you?

There are also a few open issues about melting temperatures, not something
I personally know much about. You might bring some useful fresh perspective
there?

Do any of those perk your interest?
