Hello All,
Thanks for the introduction Peter. I'm happy to be have been selected for
this task and I'm excited about adding these new features to Biopython.
I've been lurking on the biopython mailing lists for some time but I expect
to start posting a bit more as the summer goes forward. I've already
started some of the groundwork for this project during this community
bonding period. I'll be posting blog updates periodically and updating you
all here, you can see them by visiting my blog at http://evanaparker.com.
Most recently I have posted about my experience in the application period,
and about setting up git for version control.
I want to conclude by thanking all involved in the selection process,
- Evan Parker
