[BioPython] installing mxTextTools

Hi,
I am setting up biopython on my Suse Linux 10.3. I have Python 2.5.1
installed on my system already. After downloading mxTextTools i unzip it
and start the install, but get the error:

invalid Python installation: unable to
open /usr/lib/python2.5/config/Makefile (No such file or directory)

Indeed when I browse to python 2.5 in /usr/lib/python2.5/ , there is no
config folder. Python 2.5 works fine though, so what is going on here?

Any ideas anyone?
