[BioPython] installation question

Hi,

I'm trying to install biopython-1.43.tar.gz
my mxtexttools is in a non-standard place - I'm guessing I need my  
PYTHONPATH specified as I'm getting:

*** mxTextTools *** is either not installed or out of date.

I tried installing egenix-mx-base-3.0.0.tar.gz but I'm getting the  
same error. Did I get _too recent_ a copy of mxtexttools?

(Previously I had egenix-mx-base-2.0.6.tar.gz)
