Yes. One think I would like to suggest for the release would be adding
the pure python mysql driver to biosql? I had a problem with the docker
image that I am using, but I can go back and finalise the development
on a standard computer. This would allow biosql/mysql support on
python3. Also maybe deprecate the other driver?

This should be straightforward and still make it possible to have a
release next week.
