[Biopython-dev] NumPy 1.7 and NPY_NO_DEPRECATED_API warnings

That was indeed the case. I had a python in

/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/numpy

That was getting called rather than the one in my .virtualenv

Once I removed that python . The install progressed very smoothly
