[Biopython-dev] Bio-contrib project

Folks,

It has been suggested that, as an alternative to keeping code samples or
cookbook "recipes" on the wiki, we could launch a separate "-contrib"
project to collect and track this code. This could make it easier to
collect more specialized or niche functions from contributors without
worrying about cluttering up the main distribution -- or at least, make it
easier to track and publicize the functionality that we already have on
various pages of the wiki.

Thoughts?
