Hi,

This might be a red herring but:
http://biopython.org/DIST/docs/api/Bio.ExPASy-module.html :
sprot_search_ful(text, make_wild=None, swissprot=1, trembl=None,
cgi='http://www.expasy.ch/cgi-bin/sprot-search-ful')

That cgi does not exist...
