What specifically are you refering to?  I've not had any trouble with
older versions of numpy on python 2.3 - although I believe later
versions of numpy do require python 2.4+ (this must be stated on their
website somewhere).

We've already said that the next release (Biopython 1.50) will be the
last to officially support Python 2.3, so this isn't going to be an
issue for much longer anyway.
