The "one line fix" is OK for current users of Biopython 1.44, but since it
generates a DeprecationWarning I think it should not go into the next
release.

I'd like to tidy up Bio.WWW before.

I expect that it will take a couple of weeks to tidy up Bio.WWW et al., so
hopefully there will be enough time for Tiago's Coalescent support to be
finished on time for the next release.
