Brian, Mark,

Agreed about the italics; there's a lot more that can be done with  
tables if needed:

I say go ahead and pull the trigger.  No need to wait 'til 1.6.1 on  
this, the sooner it's fixed the better.  We can tweak the rest (add  
News updates, etc) along the way.
