Thanks for your email.

Absolutely we're interested in any contributions you're willing to make.
While there is a lot of functionality in BioPerl, by no means would I
consider it complete.

for starters.

Also, we're in the middle of trying to push out version 1.6 of BioPerl, and
we could certainly use your help with that. See this post for details:

Finally, if there's something you are personally interested in adding to
BioPerl, maybe something that's relevant to your work, please feel free to
propose it here on the list.
