[Bioperl-l] java runnables

Hi all,

A question related to java runnables in bioperl-run:

I would like to have a Pecan (http://www.bioperl.org/wiki/PECAN) runnable in
bioperl-run,
and there are a couple of java runnables already written, eponine and vista.

I was wondering if the current state of the java runnables satifies
everybody or if people
can think of a more clean or generic way of calling java from bioperl-run.
