[Bioperl-l] NCBI newsgroup/mailing list

Hello all,

Is there a newsgroup or mailling list for users of NCBI data and software?
I've found the contact list on the NCBI page
(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/About/glance/contact_info.html) but I find
that newsgroups and mailing lists often provide better feedback and
discussion.  Also, I imagine that I am asking questions which can easily be
anwered by looking through a FAQ or list archives.
