Dear all,

I am just starting with Perl and Bioperl and I don't know if this is the
right place to send my question. If it is not I apologize, if it is ...
here it comes

I am trying to get the percentage of identity between two regions of two
aligned sequences. I can align the sequences using blast2sequences but I
don't know how can I pass that information to the SimpleAlign module.
Maybe I am using the wrong program to align the sequences? Maybe I
should get another kind of report of my alignment? Is the SimpleAlign
module the right one to use?

Thanks a lot!
