Malcom, this is fixed on the main-trunk, but not on the released branch
0.6.2.  I guess we'll have to get the word out better, or hurry up an push
a new release out the door.

I'm not sure I really want a developer account (yet) or not.

I have a patch to submit on an postponed bug #196 (which has been
resubmitted twice as incoming bug 855 and 857).

These are my patch instructions (though not a patch file which I've not yet
learned to create)
