[Biojava-l] Searching a Sequence?

I have a Sequence built from an EMBL file

I need to search a sequence in 2 ways

1. using the Annotation (e.g. for gene names)

2. looking for a specific strings of bases


There must be a way to do this - but I just cant find it in the javadocs

Can somone point me in the way to go?
