Hi,
I created a new project that can convert the content of our mediawiki
instance to markdown pages. It is available from
https://github.com/biojava/biojava.github.io
In the branch "first_conversion" I performed an initial round of
conversions. I am using Peter Cock's scripts at
https://github.com/peterjc/mediawiki_to_git_md for this (thanks Peter!).
If you want to get credits for your contributions, please add your name and
email to the usernames.txt file. I added all people with more than 100
edits on mediawiki (and for who I had contact info).
There are a lot of dead pages that have been converted. Which pages can we
delete?
Still todo: Set up a nice jekyll site using the new markdown pages.
Andreas
