Wow, thats an impressive list of additions!

And an unfortunately large list of incompatibilities, we are not getting 
much better at keeping the rules of backwards compatability : (

In preparation for a 1.4 release, I've been looking at documenting
properly the changes made between the 1.3 release and the current cvs
HEAD.

Following the documentation on API changes at

a tool called clirr was developed

I've run clirr for release-1_3-branch vs. HEAD and posted the results to
