Yes, it's automatic (but the messages are being held up at
the moment by some filters on the mailing list, which hold
messages with attachments for moderation).
I take it you don't like the nightly reports. Maybe we should
post these to an separate mailing list after all (but all the
people who replied to my original message announcing nightly
reports seemed to think that biojava-dev was a reasonable
place to be sending them).
I can make the messages a bit shorter by leaving off the
test reports when all tests are passing. Would that help?
Anybody else who doesn't like them?
If we can't get agreement, I guess one option might be to get
the autobuilder to send messages directly to people who want
them, rather than mailing lists. This would also allow
customization of the messages (e.g. ``I want a list of
changed files, but not the complete patch'', or even
``I want nicely formatted HTML with links to WebCVS'').
This would be quite a bit of extra work, though, so I'm
not going to do it without some clear demand.
