organization. The integration of the Liquent Vista Framework provides

<p> <b>Sionex Corp.</b> and <b>Varian, Inc.</b> announced the signing of an exclusive partnership and licensing agreement that will provide Varian, Inc. access to Sionex's microDMx<SUP><small>TM</small></SUP> technology for incorporation into its GC products. Sionex's microDMx<SUP><small>TM</small></SUP> technology consists of a microfabricated chip that operates at atmospheric pressure and acts as a programmable chemical filter, allowing specific compounds to be selected and quantitatively detected after they are ionized. Only Varian's GC products will offer the microDMx<SUP><small>TM</small></SUP> technology in certain markets. The technology will be integrated initially into Varian's CP-4900 Micro-GC and also will be worked into other Varian GC products in the future.</p>

<p> <B>GV Instruments</b> (GVI) secured two IsoProbe-T<SUP><small>TM</small></SUP> TIMS orders from high-profile geological laboratories in China. The instruments will be used for isotope geochemistry, cosmochemistry, and geochronology. Both systems are configured with the latest in detection capability. This deal builds on the relationship between GVI personnel and renowned Chinese scientists that has been established over the past 25 years. The Iso-Probe-T is the latest generation multi-collector thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS) instrument capable of measuring picogram level samples to the highest possible precision.</p>
