I'm not familiar with pip, and it isn't the recommended way to install
Biopython, but hopefully one of our developers can take a look. Brad?

Numpy is already officially supporting Python 3.1, and I understand
work is underway for SciPy. For Biopython, we don't need SciPy,
so we can't use that as an excuse. You can already try Biopython
on Python 3.1 if you want to help, see our README file for details.
