[BioPython] error in installing Biopython

Dear all,

I'm trying to install Biopython on my Laptop, under SUSE linux 10.0.
Firstly I tried biopython-1.23 release (I worked with it on Windows PC).
After the command:

python setup.py install

Python starts to install the package till this error:

/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.0.2/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot 
find -lfl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1

SUSE 10.0 uses Python 2.4 and gcc 4.0

The error is the same if I used biopython-1.41.

Please, let me know how I could solve the problem.
