I'm about as artistic as lettuce, but here's a concept:

Have the body of the python be DNA.

Riffs:

The head could be suggested by separating the strands at one
end and curving the top one.  Maybe dangling single bases
could suggest fangs.

It could ingest something by having the strands separated in
the middle.

Anyone's welcome to turn this into reality.
