Business bargains – newsletter November 2002, Issue 3.

This newsletter provides details of bargains – many FREE – covering software,
hardware, and business information. I do NOT sell any of the products. If you
have not opted in you will not receive further mailings from me and I apologise
for invading your inbox. For further details see below.

1.	Are you still using a drawing package to create flowcharts? Earlier this
year I reported that a UK computer magazine (PC Plus) that reviewed allCLEAR
and stated it was "easily the fastest flowchart creator ever seen". We checked
out the package at the time and agreed - you enter the text and it draws the
chart. You can also drag and drop. Since then a new and even more powerful
version has been released and the price is down again. We have discovered what
we guess was supposed to be limited special offer but if you go to www.allclearonline.com
and buy through their shop you can enter a gift certificate number "WPB124" and
- hey presto - 25% off. Again there is likely to be a time limit so if you are
interested in this now is the time to look.

2.	This item is also not really a bargain but I was searching for information
on hard disks recently and found it difficult to locate “apparently” objective
information – go check out : http://www.harddiskinfo.com/Home.asp?spID=10540

3.	Need a new image editor? This one is available for windows or Unix. It is
a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching,
image composition and image authoring. The site below contains information about
downloading, installing, using, and enhancing GIMP. This site also serves as
a distribution point for the latest releases, patches, plugins, and scripts.
There is also lots of information about the GIMP community and related projects
as possible. Go to http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/ for the windows version.

4.	Do you have a need to split up large files for transfer over restricted internet
or email connections or to get them onto floppy disks? WinSplit could be your
answer – it splits large files into many small, even EXE-files. It can of course
join them back again. You need WinSplit if you download large files at work and
want to transfer them home or so you can transfer them to disks. WinSplit is
Shareware, registration fee is only $10. get a copy at http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~hanpohj/

I hope these are of interest and that you will subscribe to my Business Bargains
