[BioPython] GO package

I am relatively new to Python, but already feel a little addicted to 
it.  Does anyone know of any effort here  to develop a parser / wrapper 
package for GeneOntology database?  We have been writing ad hoc scripts on 
GO dataset for analyzing array data and cross genome comparison.  Would be 
interested to participate in developing efforts in this area.
