[Bioperl-l] installing bioperl for mac

Dear People,
  I have tried to install Bioperl in my new Mac Book, which carries
the latest perl distribution (5.10.0) and for some reason I can't
(using fink) make it recognize this version or perl.
  I have tried:
fink install bioperl-pm510
fink install bioperl-pm5100

but neither one works.  Is it fine installing bioperl for perl v 5.9?
