[Bioperl-l] What is Bio::LiveSeq ?

For those who might know:

What are the Bio::LiveSeq::* modules for?

There isn't much documentation there, I found some hard-coded binary 
paths, and it only seems to be used by two other modules,
Bio/SeqUtils.pm and Bio/Variation/SeqDiff.pm.
