Hi, I'm writing a Bioperl module in which I would like to implement one of the methods using the Ensembl Perl API. If the method is optional and the POD clearly states the need for Ensembl, whilst the Ensembl Perl API never gets added as a pre-req for Bioperl (ie. no entry in Makefile.PL), are there any problems with this?
