[Bioperl-l] problem installing bioperl on cygwin

That seems to be a problem with cygwin. I read about a fix for memory
conflicts with cygwin DLLs that goes like this:

a. install the Cygwin rebase package (if necessary)
b. shutdown all Cygwin processes
c. start bash (do not use rxvt)
d. execute rebaseall (in the bash window)

You should try to find out what that does exactly though, because I
don't know if your problem is the same.
