Well, it's similar to the statement about MPsrch: "It allows an exhaustive
search in a reasonable computational time".

There are a number of hardware-accelerated and/or parallel dynamic
programming resources out there (MasPar, Paracel, FPGA-based, etc).
Sorry I don't have the relevant pointers at hand, but you should be able
to find them with a little poking around.
