[Bioperl-l] Remote psiBLAST?

Hi all!

I'm trying to figure out if and how it's possible to
automate a psiBLAST-search via BioPerl.
I want to do an iterative search just like in psiBLAST,
where I search against a sequence and, in the 2nd step,
choose some more sequences from the blast report (depending
on a parameter like e-value or something like that) and run
a new BLAST job using these chosen sequences.

Is this possible in a more or less simple way using
BioPerl? Any ideas and suggestions are welcome!

Thanx in advance,

Michael Spitzer
