Bioperl-99's abstract deadline (which expired yesterday) will
be extended another 10 days until the end of next week to allow
people to make last minute submissions.

Just to remind you, there is no need to use a bioperl core module
to present your work, or use object based Perl - scripts are cool
as well. (indeed, we would be interested in python code that did
something biologically interesting). Some of the other talks are
very interesting, including SAGE analysis and algorithm integration.
Send abstracts to me <birney@sanger.ac.uk> as ASCII text.

Another reminder is that to attend the workshop you do have to
register at the bioperl web site as well as at the ISMB web site
if you want to attend ISMB (ISMB attendence does not give you
attendence to the bioperl workshop). At the end of this month
we will be closing early registration and the fee for the
attendence will go up, so get over to the web site and log in.

The bioperl workshop web site is at:

http://bio.perl.org/bioperl-99/

Registration via credit card is possible: follow links on the site.
